PIMPED CARS

PIMP YOUR CAR

Your car is often your prized possession and nothing says more about you than your car. Should you be driving a Maserati Quattroporte GTS, it speaks volumes about the kind of cash you have to blow but should you have no car, then you are just another scrub. Most of us fits somewhere in between these parameters. The following cars belong to car enthusiasts each having a unique car because it was customized to their personality, however their inspiration is syphoned  from other fantastically engineered cars like Porsche, Ferrari, Rolls Royce, Buggati, Lamborghini and Maserati

Currently the Nissan GT-R, Range Rover, BMW Active Hybrid 7,  Mercedes G550 SUV, Lexus 660h L, Mercedes Benz SL 550, Mercedes Benz CL-Class, BMW Alpina B7, Audi R8, and the Mercedes Benz SLS-AMG are the ten most sought after cars and everyone on them, are  also really expensive. Add 30% of its initial purchase price for cost of ownership (insurance, maintenance and fuel based on average usage) over a five year period, very few can afford to purchase, drive, own and maintain them.

This is all the more reason to suppe-up your car, give it the front end of a Nissan GT-R or Aston Martin and the back end of a Targa or the front end of the Lexus and he back end of a Testarossa with RX8 or Lamborghini doors.

For now, here are a few cars just to wet your appetite.

Lamborghini-like doors and as red as a Ferrari
A V8 El Camino with a paint job to die for.
The airbrushed painting on the bonnet of the El Camino above.
Modified to the hilt.
A really fantastic looking car
A sound system and speakers like no other.
Less is more.
A VW Kmbi with a modified water cooled Engine
VW Kombi with a flatscreen HDTV,  sound system and Sony games console.

PIMP YO CAR - Pimp Your Car!

Ideas to supe-up your motor car are dime a dozen, some ideas are good, some ideas are bad, some ideas are interesting, some ideas ludicrous, some ideas impractical, some ideas practical but some ideas you just  have to try and put to the test.

Two horses from the same stable but so very different.

There are of hundreds of Millions of cars on our roads today, with hundreds of motor car manufacturers producing dozens of models with varying engine capacities trying to cater for every need.  Even though each automobile falls into a batch of a different colour, each sporting its individual creature comforts, each with its unique sound, yet cannot ever hope to satisfy the requirements of each and every fancy.

Motor car manufactures come up with designs daily and launch their latest models on an annual bases but will never be able to produce a motor car for every individual's taste and needs. So, if a car manufacturer does not make the motor car you desire and you want something different, unique and have something personal in mind, then you just have to make it yourself. But, you have to begin somewhere. In our case the base model for pimping this car was a Ford. Without the use of CAD programmes, with its 3D model and ray tracing it would probably take a little longer and the end result may be different from what was initially intended but to make the first prototype, one has to be hands on and start somewhere.

So watch this space for a Ford sedan with a bonnet that opens up in the middle like a book with Lamborghini doors with air shocks and a sound system to kill for.
